 About My Photography:

I started taking photos from a very young age. My first camera was a Kodak "Brownie", which I used until it finally broke.

I ended up going to Grossmont College in La Mesa, CA. for Photography, mainly Black & White, however we developed our own shots for a final album and grade. We learned a great deal about focus and contrast.

When I began shooting, I would shoot anything, mostly with a total disregard of contrast, focus, definition, lighting, or anything. I then purchased my first SLR camera in 1982, and had my first total subject, my new daughter Andrea. Now, my new SLR was a Canon AE-1 Programmable which still required film and outside developing. I found then that I needed to improve in every aspect of photography. Then came digital,

That's when I fell in love with Landscapes. I had taken so many close-ups with my children, I needed a change. As I have became a decent landscape photographer, I started doing other shoots, such as family get togethers, weddings, vehicles, boats and aircraft, commercial shoots, real estate, government and really anything you want pictures of.

The truth is I fell in love with photography because it captures that less than a second moment that you will never get back, always remember, or maybe not? It shows us what we were doing, when, and is a reminder of those great times!

It is also a reminder of where we have been, or in many cases, photos show us where we'd like to go. We seem to become one with good photographs, as our minds, ever so slightly, become absorbed with the scene and we picture ourselves right there.

May all of your memories be captured and saved as our future generations will need a good laugh!
